The OSU-R Forest station is equipped of two climatic stations. One is located in the lowland forest of Mare Longue and the second one is located in the montane forest Plaine des Fougères.
Mare Longue climatic stationis composed of an acquisition station (Campbell Scientific CR1000), relative humidity and temperature sensors, a rain gauge. The station is equipped of solar panels.
Plaine des Fougères climatic station is composed of twoCampbell acquisition stations one under canopy and one outside the canopy. Under canopy these parameters are measured: relative humidity and temperature sensors, soil water content, photosynthetic active radiation, rain gauge. The station is equipped of a leaf wetness sensors and bryophytes lysimeters to assess cloud water interception. Outside the canopy the station is composed of a rain gauge, leaf wetness sensor and relative humidity and temperature sensors.
Along two elevational gradients Moveclim East (350-2950 m) and Moveclim West (1310-2350 m), climatic sensors (Madgetech RH/temp) measuring temperature and relative humidity are set up in natural systems every 200 m.
The station is equipped of solar panels, which provide energy for the data acquisition.
